These festivals have a thematic focus on international level and provide a platform for youth exchange.
The members exchange information and experience, inspire youth for new initiatives and support emerging festival. Members promote international interaction among youth individuals and organisation for mutual understanding among different cultures.
The network should establish a legal entity for SOrCE. The members of the network are interacting on the base of a code of conduct.

About 25 students from all around Europe had a nice time in Belgrade exchanging experiences with collegaues abroad and making new personal and professional international contacts.
Through three workshops participants have shown their creativity and knowledge. So, Media group was talking about ISWiB motto – Crossing Borders by working on new communications and as a result of their work you can see blog on web address: crossingborders-onlinejournalism.blogspot.com. You can find some of the participants’ impressions here.
Photo Art group was walking around and taking photos of Belgrade, some important places and interesting things. Third workshop, Culture & Arts, had a duty to find some locations and make funny pictures. Second day they visited important galleries and museums.

The most of the participants were from Macedonia, then from Germany, Croatia, Ukraine, Hungary, Denmark, Belarus, Latvia, Poland and Serbia. Foreign participants have been accommodated with their domestic collegaues and friends and all of them were satisfied with the hosts. All the participants said that they will be glad and very happy to participate next year, too.
During International Student Week in Belgrade there were organized many interesting activities: sightseeing by bus with tourist guide, dinner in bohemian quarter “Skadarlija” and visiting Nikola Tesla Museum, also restaurants with live music. Participants could swim on Ada Ciganlija river island and had great parties in Belgrade clubs.

You can nominate candidates until may 15th.
The Student Peace Prize is to be awarded for the fifth time during ISFiT 2007. The prize is awarded every second year on behalf of all Norwegian students, and is the only peace prize in the world to and from students. In giving this prize we wish to highlight the important role of students in the struggle for peace, democracy and human rights. Students efforts are widely underestimated, even though students often have the ability and opportunity to think differently, and thus to create a more peaceful world. Awarding the Peace Prize helps to get support and recognition for idealist students who work for peace and basic rights. The Peace Prize receives nominations from all over the world, and we make a tremendous effort to learn about good candidates. The nominee must be a student or a student organization who or which has made an outstanding contribution to peace, democracy or human rights.
A committee consisting of students and prominent persons in Norwegian politics and society chooses the winner of the Student Peace Prize 2007. The recipient receives an invitation to come to Norway to accept the prize at the Peace Prize Ceremony during ISFiT 2007, and will also travel throughout Norway to meet with important organizations and decision makers.
